December went by with such a whirl that I didn't get a chance to stop and tell you all about the Epsom & Ewell business awards back at the end of November, held at The University for Creative Arts, Epsom.
I popped on my heals and of course a hat, and spent the evening rubbing shoulders with Chris Grayling (MP for Epsom and Ewell / Leader of the House of Commons) who was the host.
Jessica Rea Millinery was lucky enough to be picked out as a finalist in the Best Young Entrepreneur category. The judges had some lovely comments to share about Jessica Rea Millinery on the night but I was just pipped to the post by the Lucie Oliver from Dolly Goes Dancing.
But I didn't go away empty handed we did win an award for the Country Clothing Store in Ewell within which I have my workshop... and very proud to be a part of. We also won a great prize from TheBestOf...Epsom, so look out for us on their platform.
"Winner of best New Business Award **for Country Clothing Store**! I'd be nothing without my team of ladies laughing and joking all day everyday. It's such a blessing to be able to wake up each day and actually go to work with a smile on your face! I'm so proud of not only myself but my gorgeous team, thank you for your hard work. We did it!!' ...Jessica Rea
